What was my experience like with DVHosting.in ? I'm sharing the full details with you. Ask for Hosting PlanThis is the worst hosting provider service , run by a bunch of idiots . I was laughing at the admin of this site when I first contacted them. I told them I needed Alpha Reseller hosting . The admin asked, " What is Alpha Reseller ?" Then I told them that cPanel , whm and Master Package are created with the help of Alpha Reseller Package . Then he told me directly about Root Reseller and called Alpha Reseller a package . I told him I needed the Alpha package . So these people were explaining to me the opposite, that Root Reseller is better than this and Alpha Reseller is the name of a package . Then I told him that yes I know, but I only need Alpha Reseller Package . They should have directly refused that we do not provide Alpha Package . After a few days, I don't know from where he got information about Alpha Reseller Hosting , then after that he added Alpha Reseller Hosting on his site . Ask for Data CenterWhen Alpha Reseller Plan became available on their site , I asked them where is the data center of your server? They told me their data center was in Europe. I said okay and asked them, "Do n't you have a data center in India?" After that he said that cPanel has been closed in India since last month. I did not say anything and thought of ordering hosting. Order HostingWhile purchasing the " Alpha Pro " plan from them as a starting point, I asked them to add the "Alpha Pro Plan" to my account with my preferred cPanel username. Then he said he would change the username later. I also told him that once a cPanel username is created on the server, it should not be changed. Otherwise, doing so breaks the internal linking. He said, "Who told you this ?" 🥺 Nothing happens on a new account. I myself was surprised, these people have been running hosting sites for so many years and they are not even aware of this. Still I purchased Alpha Pro Plan from them, but I did not get my Preferred cPanel username from them, which I wanted. Then after that they changed my cPanel username, and I tested on cPanel, cronjob was not working on my cPanel. After changing the cPanel username on their hosting, I just checked the cronjob. I did not even use their hosting, still I kept quiet and thought that I had told these idiots that once the cPanel username is created, it should not be changed. UpgradeWhile creating the package on the WHM Panel, I noticed that the Disk Space and Bandwidth Quota was limited. I asked him how much he would pay to increase this quota, as I wanted the Unlimited option instead. So they were directly telling me about Root Reseller and saying that Unlimited option is available only on Root Reseller. I said that you can provide unlimited options with the help of whmreseller Plugin and I also showed him its screenshot. Then he told me after seeing the screenshot I sent, that this is your root account. 😀 Those people are so stupid 😅 that they should have thought for themselves, if I had root access, then why would I buy Alpha Reseller Hosting from them? Later they again said that we do not provide unlimited option on any reseller plan. I was simply asking them for the Unlimited option on my account and paying them for it. I didn't ask them to add the Unlimited option to my plan. Speed & CloudLinuxI checked their hosting but there was nothing special about their hosting. And I asked him, can you provide access to CloudLinux ? Other hosting providers provide access to CloudLinux , as I was given in my reseller account and I also sent him a screenshot of it. They told me that CloudLinux only has one administrator. Your cPanel version is 130. If you ask your administrator to upgrade your cPanel, your CloudLinux access will automatically be removed. On this latest version of cPanel , CloudLinux access can no longer be granted to anyone. I also told him that what does CloudLinux have to do with the cPanel version, CloudLinux will just do its job. He said that the option to provide CloudLinux access is no longer available on the latest version of cPanel . DVHosting RefundFinally I thought, come on, how long will I do business with such stupid people, otherwise I will go crazy. Then I created a ticket asking that my hosting server be cancelled, and if possible, refund some money after deducting GST. They replied me in ticket reply No Refund on Reseller Hosting. I have lost only ₹765, I have no regrets about the refund, but they closed the ticket immediately after replying to the ticket. But my experience with DVhosting.in was very bad.
